RE : Visits Africa-Madagascar 2007 ( Français )

Dear Brothers,

Greetings from Rome where we are almost at the end of our September Plenary Session. I hope that you are well.

As you know it, there will be a Joint Session before the October 2007 Inter Chapter in South Africa . The Central Government would like to visit our region before meeting with the regional Conference in Johannesburg from the 26th to 28th September, 2007.

It is our desire to make visitation one week (15-22 September) before reaching Johannesburg meeting. According to their availability and in dialogue with the concerned units, some members   will be able to anticipate their visit. Here is our schedule.

  1. CAMEROON & ANGOLA              Loudeger Mazile (Latin America)
  2. CENTRAL SA                            Federico Labaglay (Asia-Oceania)
  3. CONGO                                   Luis Ignacio Rois (Europe)
  4. LESOTHO                                Paolo Archiati (2 nd Assistant General)
  5. NAMIBIA                                 Thomas Coughlin (Secretary General)
  6. NATAL                                    Eugene King (Vicar General)
  7. NORTHERN SA & Cedara            Guillermo Steckling (Superior General)
  8. MADAGASCAR                          Oswald Firth (1 st Assistant General)
  9. SENEGAL                                Jean B. Musumbi (Africa-Madagascar)
  10. ZAMBIA & KENYA                      Marcel Dumais (Canada-U.S.)
  11. ZIMBABWE                              Rufus Whitley (Treasurer General)

As usual, in view of the Inter Chapter, some Provincials from other regions will like to visit our units. The period will be specified subsequently. At present, it is urgent to tell me if your unit will be able to welcome one or two other visitors (Major Superiors) in addition to the member of the Central Government. Without forgetting the African hospitality, it is right to note that the expenses of their stay will be supported by the visited unit.

Thank you for your reply. It will allow us to plan all the visits ahead of time.

Union of prayer.

jbmusumbi, General Councillor
